Dermatix®: Does Dermatix® Work?

Dermatix® Ultra advanced scar treatment is a cream-based product that is intended to help reduce the appearance of scars. Dermatix® Ultra comes in a one-ounce tube and contains silicone as part of its ingredients. Due to the fact that Dermatix® Ultra contains silicone, it may be very effective in helping to reduce the appearance of scars that may be caused by accidents, surgery or pregnancy. However, it has been shown that there are additional ingredients added to the formula, which may dilute the efficacy of the silicone. It has also not been confirmed by the manufacturer whether or not Dermatix® Ultra is formulated for both old and new scars.
